
Theater and acting majors not only immerse themselves in script work as they study acting technique, but also practice free falling into the intuitive through improvisation. Musical Theater 101 - Dance or another dance class is a required to refine posture and body alignment and body awareness. Classes such as Stage Combat and Acting for Camera help build diversity in the actor while the Auditioning class helps prepare the quality monologues and solo’s needed for entrance into the collegiate and professional world.
We are delighted to have Norman Ferguson from Georgia State University teaching many of these COMPASS classes. Norman has already impressed us with his swashbuckling "swordography" for Peter Pan and he has much more to offer our COMPASS artists!
