The musical theatre major is a collaboration of all three major disciplines - dance, music, and drama. Artists study both improvisation for theatre as well as intensive technique training and multiple dance disciplines each semester.
In addition to the program classes, we consider independent private vocal study a requirement for this major. The Musical Theater major is also encouraged to audition for The Sounds of Suwanee Jazz Ensemble, in affiliation with Suwanee Performing Arts, Inc. our nonprofit company. These costs are not included in the COMPASS price total.
